AngelTrack 2.0 build 222 (2015-06-13) release notes

The following features, bugfixes, and changes are present in this build:

Improvements and new features

  1. Postprocess Status Report can now hide all items "Awaiting payment", in order to get a better view of everything else.
  2. The zone selector control is now hidden when no zones are configured.
  3. Anti-Kickback Statute Primer added.
  4. When closing an invoice and underpaying it, there is now an option to write off the unpaid items as a courtesy discount. The affected items will be so noted in their journals, and then moved to 'Finished' and thereafter appear in the Writeoff Calculator.
  5. When applying the new courtesy discount feature to a facility invoice, the facility's billing history is checked and an Anti-Kickback Statute warning icon is displayed if the facility has referred any insurable Medicare or Medicaid calls in the past year.
  6. The Pricing page now calculates the difference between each facility's BLS, ALS, and MICU prices and the corresponding Medicare rates for the facility's ZIP code, so as to indicate potential AKS issues.
  7. The Followup data no longer automatically sets "Transport Mode to Scene - Intersections" to "Against normal light patterns" for an ambulance running an emergent call; the crew must specifically make that selection.
  8. The progress image on the Run Call page is now different for catch-and-release calls (no destination is set), in order to help crews remember to phone in a destination if they intend to transport.
  9. New report Call Volume Summary By Code, available from Billing Home, shows the past year's call volume by Medicare billing code, month over month.
  10. Medicare coding information is now included in the "Billing" section of every run report.
  11. Facility records (via the Facility Edit page) now calculate and display their Medicare carrier, locality, location class, GPCI, and effective BLS rate.

Significant bugfixes

  1. The PCR Assessment red and blue lightning-bolts vanished in build 221.
