AngelTrack 2.0 build 247 (2016-01-24) release notes
The following features, bugfixes, and changes are present in this build:
Improvements and new features
-
New EDI control number format, with the following benefits over the old control number format:
-
Enables a new Coding feature allowing a claim to be re-filed with a new control number. This is for those rare occasions when an insurer rejects a claim and requires it to be refiled from scratch under a different claim control number (CLM01).
-
Reissued control numbers differ only by their suffix: dispatch ID 4444 will be initially claimed as AD4444N1, with subsequent control numbers being AD4444N2, AD4444N3, AD4444N4, and so on.
-
Claim control numbers and service line control numbers are now immediately human-readable: the decoder tool is no longer required. So for example, when reading an EOB, if you see claim control number AD1234N1, you already know it's dispatch ID 1234, first time claimed (N1).
-
Facility invoices and affiliate invoices now offer the option to clear any prices adjudicated by insurers, in order to honor an underlying pricing contract with the facility or affiliate as regards claims denied by insurance.
-
Facilities With a Balance and Affiliates With a Balance reports now offer the option to ☑ Ignore any prices adjudicated by insurers in calculating the balance owing.
Significant bugfixes
-
Downloading a cloud server logfile -- from Support Home -- would begin the transfer but fail to complete it.
-
If the 835 from the primary insurance was never imported, and if the secondary insurer's 835 inappropriately sets the adjudicated price equal to just the amount of the deductible (being paid for by the secondary), the amount of the deductible will be saved to the "Price allowed" field, causing the call to inappropriately report itself as fully paid. Adjudicated prices from secondary and tertiary insurers should be ignored.
