AngelTrack 2.0 build 251 (2016-02-28) release notes

The following features, bugfixes, and changes are present in this build:

Improvements and new features

  1. The recently overhauled PCR Assessment form now loads much faster.
  2. The PCR Assessment form now supports "Normal" exam findings, which previously were communicated only by implication.
  3. The preference setting for signature collection at dropoff now has a "Never" setting, for agencies which do not ever need to collect a signature at the destination.
  4. New preference setting for changing the minimum PCR narrative length required before a crew member may send their report onward to QA.
  5. The Pricing Combination Analyzer Report now breaks down BLS service into separate A0428 and A0429 charts, and ALS service into separate A0426, A0427, and A0433 charts.
  6. The Edit EDI Batch page's grid of included dispatches now shows the claim control number that was filed, as well as the monetary amount claimed. The data is available retroactively, all the way back to your first AngelTrack claim batch.
  7. Stale Receivables Queue's grid export option now contains twenty additional fields, consisting of all patient demographic information, all primary and secondary insurance fields, and primary insurance claim filing data.
  8. Invoices now calculate the Medicare rates that were in force for the date, ZIP code, and service level of each transport. The difference between the Medicare rates versus the actual invoiced prices is calculated and displayed as a percentage in the summary chart for each section of the invoice. This is done in order to help both you and your customers (nursing homes and hospitals) to qualify for the Regulatory Discount Safe Harbor in 42 C.F.R. § 1001.952(h). To learn more about the safe harbor and why it matters, read the Safe Harbor section of the the Anti-Kickback Statute guide.
  9. The claim control number (837P CLM01) is now automatically included in the comments field of the "Claim" payment event record that is automatically created when an EDI batch is marked "Transmitted".
  10. PCR Vitals now allows the BGL to be entered as mg/dL or as mmol/L, whichever unit suits the crew.

Significant bugfixes

  1. When using the recently overhauled PCR Assessment form on an iOS device, the "Add New Symptom" popup dialog would disappear when operating one of its dropdown lists, only to reappear again after the page was manually scrolled up or down.
  2. The Pricing Combination Analyzer Report failed to load the selected facility's current price schema, thus falling back on the default price settings instead.
  3. Text data entered into a "Text" type custom PCR field would be saved correctly, but would not be reloaded into the field when the custom PCR fields page was reopened.
