Special provisions
For QA purposes, this build has been held back in order to be released on the same day as build 259. All customers will immediately receive all features and all bugfixes from both builds.
Improvements and new features
-
The PCR now performs live NEMSIS validation on all reportable calls, at the moment the crew clicks the "Send to QA" button. Any validation failure is displayed on the screen, and must be corrected before the report can be sent to QA. Does not apply to Australian customers. To learn more about NEMSIS validation within AngelTrack, refer to the State Trauma Registry Uploads guide.
-
Likewise the QA Review page, which now live NEMSIS validates any call being sent onward to the Billing office. This serves as one final check that the run report -- if reportable to the state trauma registry -- is complete and ready for upload, thus minimizing the number of validation failures that accumulate later in the State Upload Queue. Does not apply to Australian customers.
-
The "Not applicable" values for "Patient Condition On-Scene" and "Patient Condition at Destination" have been removed due to abuse: crews are choosing "Not applicable" when they should be specifying a real value (green / yellow / red / black).
-
The list of available procedures shown in the PCR is now configurable, using a new Procedure List page available under Supervisor Home. Likewise each procedure in the list has a configurable minimum patch level. Appropriate default patch levels have already been set for you. The list, along with the patch levels, is reportable to the state via the NEMSIS 'Demographic' report.
-
Medications in the med list -- editable using the Medication List page available under Supervisor Home -- now have configurable patch level requirements. Appropriate default patch levels have already been set for you. The list, along with the patch levels, is reportable to the state via the NEMSIS 'Demographic' report.
-
The PCR will now require the Injury page to be filled out if any Assessment includes an impression code that implies injury occurred (e.g. ICD-10 'S' series codes).
-
The PCR Injury page now allows for multiple pieces of safety equipment to be recorded, instead of just one.
-
The PCR Assessment and PCR Vitals pages now load significantly faster: load time is reduced by at least one-third for PCR Vitals, and by two-thirds for PCR Assessment.
-
The PCR now has an interactive stroke screen card, based on the Los Angeles Prehospital Stroke Screen (LAPSS), integrated into the PCR Assessment page.
Significant bugfixes
-
On the State Upload Queue, the bulk export icons for .ZIP and .XML are reversed.
-
Reperfusion checklist results -- recorded using the PCR Medication page -- were omitted from NEMSIS uploads to the state trauma registry.
