Improvements and new features

  1. Three new achievements, consisting of 36 new ribbons:
  2. New report Ledger Activity under Billing home shows all ledger activity across all facilities and affiliates, over any date range.
  3. Closed Dispatches report can now filter by attending crew member.
  4. QA reviewers can now review any past dispatch, not just the dispatches currently in QA, for the purpose of understanding a patient's history and past EMS services received.
  5. There is now a state upload connector for Kentucky, via the ImageTrend gateway that serves Kentucky's state trauma registry.
  6. Using their Employee Self-Edit page, employees can now configure their race, gender, date of birth, citizenship, education level, and languages spoken. All of the aforementioned are reportable to your state trauma registry, and each employee -- rather than the HR department -- can configure the data about themselves.
  7. Employees are no longer permitted to choose a password which is a variant of their login name, or their full name, or their cellphone number, or the word "angeltrack".
  8. There is a new built-in certificate type for crew members: "Tuberculosis Annual Test". The status of each crew member's annual TB test -- recorded via this new certificate type -- is reported as a new column in the Crew Certificates Overview Report.
  9. New Crew Immunizations Overview Report shows which crew members are in need of (or are nearly in need of) which standard EMS immunizations, including D/P/T, Hepatitis A and B, the annual flu shot, M/M/R, Meningococcus, Tetanus, and Tuberculosis. The new report is available under HR Home.
  10. Changes to the CMS-1500 paper claim generator:
  11. The 837P encoder now allows (i.e. no longer strips out) the following characters in textual datafields such as the reason for transport, reason for stretcher, and names and street addresses: These newly permitted characters extend the set of characters already permitted: Due to limitations of the 837P file format, the following characters are never allowed:
  12. Billers, dispatchers, and supervisors can now manually create new patient records, from the Patients List, in the same manner as adding new vehicles or new facilities.
  13. Coding page now supports the selection of an alternate pay-to address, via loop 2010AB (or overriding the address in CMS-1500 box 33). You must first specify the alternate pay-to address using the Business Information item in the Settings page. You can also choose to make it the default, meaning it will be automatically selected when coding your calls.
  14. Import an EDI Document now tolerates ZirMed EDI documents that use the EDI sub-element separator (the vertical bar) in place of the data-element separator (normally an asterisk). If you use ZirMed, AngelTrack recommends you upgrade to a better clearinghouse. AngelTrack's support staff are experienced EMS billers who will help you plan and execute a smooth migration.

Significant bugfixes

  1. The date controls on the Patients with a Balance, Facilities with a Balance, and Affiliates with a Balance were limited to the past one year.
  2. When importing a zipped-up EDI document using Import an EDI Document, if the zipped file contains both an EDI datafile and an explanatory textfile, AngelTrack would sometimes complain that it could not find the EDI datafile inside the zip.
  3. When exporting an invoice to .PDF, the subtables of accumulated payment events and billing notes for each dispatch were not included.
