Improvements and new features

  1. New "unattended dispatch mode" allows crews to close their own calls from the field. To use this feature, you must first visit the Preferences page under Settings and allow it by ticking the relevant checkbox in the "Dispatch" section. Once allowed, a ☑ Unattended mode checkbox will appear on the dispatch board. When the checkbox is ticked, crews can close out their own calls by simply pressing the progress button one final time after marking themselves back in service. To learn more, read the Unattended Dispatch Mode Guide.
  2. AngelTrack can now export its run data in the obsolete NEMSIS 2 XML format, in addition to the standard NEMSIS 3 XML format. AngelTrack can therefore upload call data to states whose trauma registries have not yet migrated to NEMSIS 3, i.e. to states who are in violation of their covenant to implement NEMSIS 3 by January 1 2016.
  3. The process for retroactively booking a dispatch is now improved. Also, you can now retroactively book shifts, for assignment to your retroactive dispatches. To learn more, read the Retroactive Booking Guide.
  4. The PDF button in the PCR now retrieves a compact version of the run report, rather than the verbose version. The compact version omits all the page-breaks that are normally added for readability. This change will dramatically reduce the number of pages in faxed run reports.
  5. The QA Review form now allows the reviewer to check and modify the tags attached to the dispatch.
  6. Billing Home now indicates the number of calls in the State Upload Queue awaiting upload to the trauma registry, as well as the number of calls currently failing NEMSIS validation. If the latter number is not zero, the indication turns red. To learn more about uploads to state trauma registries, read the State Upload Guide.

Significant bugfixes

  1. The "Statistics" tab of Facility Edit sometimes refused to load.
  2. If a crew consisting of a BLS and an ALS are put on shift in a BLS vehicle, the shift's service level was reported as FR, not BLS.
  3. When new employees are created during the middle of the week and immediately begin work, the "Totals" grid under the timecard shows their subtotals but leaves their names blank.
  4. If a crew member creates a new incident, uploads attachments, and assigns it to someone else, all at the same time, it causes an application error.
