Improvements and new features

  1. On the "Calendar" tab of the Shifts page, AngelTrack now displays a chart of the number of hours that each employee has clocked so far during the work week, plus the number of hours that they are expected to work on their active and scheduled shifts. This will assist in planning the weekly shift schedule.
  2. Patient records can now have a tertiary insurance policy, not in the billing order ("reserved") but nevertheless an active policy. This is used to store NSure Insurance Discovery responses that discover a replaced policy, e.g. Medicaid Replacement Plans that replace an underlying active Medicaid policy.
  3. Updated schematrons for NY, SC, AZ, IL, and OR.

New AngelTrack.Com Domain is Now Accessible

All customers may now access their AngelTrack cloud servers using the new shorter domain name: angeltrack.com.

For example, if you access your cloud server like this:

https://acme.angeltracksoftware.com

...then you now have the option to access it like this:

https://acme.angeltrack.com

Both URLs work the same, and will continue to do so; you may use either URL as long as you wish.

HOWEVER, to use the new shorter URL, you must take an extra step if your company meets all of the following criteria:

  1. You began using AngelTrack in 2019 or earlier;
  2. You use AngelTrack's timeclock;
  3. You use the Timeclock Hosts feature to restrict clock-ins to company premises; and
  4. You have not yet already asked AngelTrack Support to enable IPv6 on your AngelTrack server.

If you meet all of the above criteria, then do not begin using the new shorter URL until after you've checked your Timeclock Hosts list to verify that your stations' IPv6 internet addresses are recorded.

You've probably just got their IPv4 internet addresses recorded, but this was fine because your old URL (in angeltracksoftware.com) did not allow IPv6 connections. The new shorter URL (angeltrack.com) does allow IPv6, and so any mobile device on your station's WiFi network that makes an IPv6 connection to AngelTrack will not be able to clock-in or -out, until the station's IPv6 address is added to the approved list.

You can edit your AngelTrack cloud server's list of approved station IPv6 addresses by visiting Settings and then clicking the "Timeclock Hosts" item. You must have Administrator, Captain, or HR privileges to alter the list.

To learn more, read the Timeclock Hosts IPv6 Transition Guide.
