Improvements and new features

  1. Import an EDI Document now tolerates EOBs that omit the date of service (DTM*472).
  2. Waystar (Zirmed) clearinghouse uploader/downloader is now available.
  3. Waystar intermediate 277CA documents that contain clearinghouse-initiated claim rejections can now successfully match up to the underlying claim events, so as to auto-mark as 'failed' any claim event that Waystar rejects, thus correctly moving the underlying dispatches back to the Insurance Filing Queue to be fixed and re-batched.
  4. The invoice generators no longer always place the customer's entire ledger balance onto each new invoice; rather, they check what ledger charges are already present in the customer's open committed invoices, and only add a net charge or credit to the new invoice. For example, if a customer's ledger balance is $100, and they have two open committed invoices each with a $20 ledger charge, then any new invoice generated for the customer will get a $60 ledger charge, such that the ledger would be zero'd if all three invoices were paid in full. (This change will have no effect on providers who use 30-day reinvoicing cycles, where each customer always has exactly one open invoice at a time.)
  5. When accessing any of these pages for a particular dispatch: ...the dispatch will be locked, so that other users who access any of those pages for the same dispatch will receive a "trip is being edited by so-and-so" lock warning.
  6. On the Employee Self-Edit page, in the "Messaging settings" area, there is now a tickybox to subscribe oneself to AngelTrack's "Products and New Features Announcements" mailing-list. Sometimes it is not obvious when we ship a new feature -- many customers still do not know that AngelTrack has a crew scheduler and a clearinghouse uploader! Subscribe yourself to the mailing-list to make sure you learn of new features just as soon as they become available.
  7. When a patient's insurance changes on an unusual say, such that it lands in the middle of a patient data checkpoint, you can tell AngelTrack to create a supplemental patient data checkpoint for that specific day, thus allowing the new dates of service to use the new insurance while dates of service earlier in the week will use the old insurance.
  8. Every state upload credential can how have its NEMSIS version set to 'auto', so that when the state eventually migrates to v3.5.0, nobody will need to manually edit the upload credential to specify v3.5.0 as the desired version.
