Improvements and new features

  1. The new shift/vehicle/affiliate capabilities system is now online. It allows fine-grained control of the services you offer to the public, including their QA settings, billing defaults, and CPR-card requirements. You can even control which crew capabilities are considered qualified to respond to other call types. To learn more, read the Service Levels guide.
  2. In the new capabilities system, the FR ("First Responder" / EMR) capability is no longer automatically regarded as qualified to respond to BLS+ transport calls. This change was necessary because there may be fire / rescue / hazmat units who are FR-level responders (i.e. an EMT is onboard) but who lack the ability to transport patients. As a result of this change, if your shifts are missing some of their certificates and thus are calculated by AngelTrack to be FR, rather than BLS/ALS, then starting now you have three options: On a related note: If your state health department has given dispensation to perform BLS/ALS transport with only one BLS onboard, then visit the Preferences page under Settings and adjust the BLS/ALS certificate rules to specify "Car service" as the minimum certificate level of the second crew member (i.e. of the driver).
  3. AngelTrack now supports "night mode". If you switch your computer or mobile device to night-mode, or if it switches itself automatically at sundown, AngelTrack will respond by switching to a dark color scheme that is friendly to night-vision.
  4. On a run-ticket, the facility records attached as origin and/or destination will now color-code themselves according to facility type. Dialysis centers, for example, are purple; nursing homes are blue; hospitals are red; clinics are green; urgent-care centers are orange; mental health and rehab facilities are yellow; jails and morgues are turquoise; and homes are brown.
  5. Updated schematron from AL.
