Improvements and new features
-
AngelTrack's new offline PCR is now available for those who wish to beta-test it. It allows crews to perform their PCR functions without need of a constant wifi signal, and has these very convenient attributes:
-
Nothing to install or update; it is one-click launch right in the web browser.
-
Device agnosticism: It can run on any modern device that has Chrome, Edge, or Safari.
-
Ability for all crew members to use any combination of online and offline PCRs simultaneously.
-
Automatic assumption of the user's current AngelTrack login, so that no re-login is necessary.
-
Can collect data for up to an hour without a wireless signal, and send it all up to the server once the signal returns.
-
Seamless switching back to the online PCR.
-
Works just like the online PCR, so very little retraining is necessary.
Phase 1 is now live, which implements the following PCR functions:
-
Basic login / logout / status.
-
Continuous geolocation with automatic reporting to the server when connectivity is available.
-
The run-call page, including:
- one-click launch of streetmap app for driving directions;
- the ability to simultaneously run two different calls; and
- crew self-close where permitted.
-
Electronic signature collection, including automatic back-dating if a signal is not obtained until later.
This is sufficient functionality for BLS and wheelchair crews to run calls and take signatures. Phase 2 will add ePCS and eMcPAN forms. To learn more, read the Offline PCR Guide.
-
Improvements to the NFIRS data-file fidelity, and the associated fire-call report UI.
