Improvements and new features
-
The writeoff/sold system is overhauled:
-
When a dispatch is written off, AngelTrack now sets the balance due to zero. Any unpaid monetary amount is thereafter reported as a writeoff amount.
-
Writeoffs, including sales to collections, are now automatically reflected in a special payment event of type "Writeoff" or "Sale to collections", as appropriate. AngelTrack keeps the special payment event updated to always reflect the written-off item's monetary amount, and will auto-delete the special payment event if a biller un-writes-off the item by pulling it back into the billing workflow.
-
These new special payment event records can be used to analyze your writeoffs and sales to collections, using the Payment Event Finder, or Report Builder.
-
The Line Items Report now shows written-off items (including sold items) as having a balance of zero, to match Report Builder.
-
The "Billing" tab of the Dispatch Edit page now visibly differentiates between a balance owing (for an unfinished receivable), versus an amount sold to collections or otherwise written off (for a finished receivable). Likewise for the monetary-amounts display on the Payment Event Add page.
-
The Invoice Aging Report no longer includes monetary amounts that are written-off or sold to collections.
To learn more, visit the Writeoff Guide in the knowledgebase.
-
AngelTrack is now integrated with Stryker LIFENET to import ECG-monitor data from LIFEPAK devices. To learn more, please see the Stryker LIFENET Integration Guide.
-
The clearinghouse uploader/downloader will now refrain from auto-posting EOBs which include any dispatch that has already been told to collections; instead, the EOB will be left for the biller to manually import, since it will be necessary to notify the collections agency about the payment.
-
The Special Handling Queue now appears as a billing dashboard.
-
The Express Invoicer now has an option for retail patients to inherit their residence facility's contract prices.
-
The dispatch board's progress indicators now show the vehicle type -- ambulance, fire truck, wheelchair van, or gurney van.
-
The Coding page has a new button at the bottom to save changes and create a single-claim batch for the dispatch.
-
Many fixes and improvements to the VectorCare integration.
-
Updated schematrons from AL, NE, and SC.
