Large Improvements and New Features
-
All PCR records appearing on the PCR-Review tab now have a handy 'Dupe' function.
-
For each dispatch, you can now specify a facility record as the "Source" of the call, for use later in correlating the sources of call volume / revenue. If you are running out of tags, then consider using this new feature for all referral tracking, so that you don't have to use tags for that purpose. To learn more, please visit the Call Volume Source Tracking Guide.
-
AngelTrack now stores the date/time at which each trip was parked by a biller. The data is available in the Data Hub datasets "Dispatches-Workflow" and "Dispatches-Postprocess".
-
The "Billing" column of most billing grids now sorts the grid by Payor -> Cardinal -> Activation Time, allowing the grid to be quickly sorted by which calls are currently claimed against the primary (cardinal = 1) versus those currently claimed against the secondary (cardinal = 2).
-
The Parking Lot has a new filter checkbox to show calls which are 'Finished' while parked.
-
When printing an invoice as a CMS-1500, service charges and finance charges are now included as line items, where such can fit on the six rows of the form.
-
The Coding page now offers a convenient quick-link to the add-a-PAN-document page.
-
Dispatch orphan-search code now looks +/- 52 hours for a matching trip, up from +/- 36 hours.
-
The Invoices page's bulk-operations tab now offers to show the review-workflow page afterward, for all affected dispatches.
-
NERIS picklist values are now online and ready to be customized, in anticipation of the forthcoming AngelTrack NERIS fire reporting product.
-
The automatic EDI importer will now refrain from auto-importing any X12.835 containing a claim with a 'heads up' (blue) flag raised; it wiill leave the 835 to be manually imported. Please refer to the EDI Adjustment Code Customization Guide to learn more.
-
The QA Queue can now filter by tag.
-
New policy and throttles for "vibe coded" AIs which seek to interact directly with AngelTrack's user-facing pages; to learn more, please visit the AI "Vibe Coding" Policies and Defenses Guide.
-
Many small bugfixes and buffs in the refreshed UI.
Reminders of Upcoming Events -- ALL USERS of ANGELTRACK'S OLD USER INTERFACE
AngelTrack's older user interface (the pre-refresh version running at *.angeltracksoftware.com) will be sunsetted according to this schedule, subject to change without notice:
-
2026-Jun-01: No new features implemented in the old user interface.
-
2026-Sep-01: No bugfixes made to the old user interface except for security fixes.
-
2027-Jan-01: Older user interface goes offline permanently. AngelTrack's refreshed UI will thereafter run at both the *.angeltrack.com and *.angeltracksoftware.com domains.
Fire providers must download all NFIRS reports using the old user interface BEFORE IT GOES OFFLINE ON JAN 01 2027.
-
Build 590: Billers can now set various flags on each RARC and CARC. These flags can control the EDI importer's selection of payment event type, and provide helpful visual feedback when reviewing an EOB. Please refer to the EDI Adjustment Code Customization Guide to learn more.
-
Build 590: The attached-patient side-tab that appears on many AngelTrack pages now shows the patient's Billing Notes. Likewise, the Patient Edit page now shows the patient's Billing Notes in a convenient side-tab.
-
Build 590: The Movi Integration can now push crew-status updates back to Movi, so that Movi's dashboards can show the progress of your crews. To learn more, please visit the Movi Integration Guide.
-
Build 590: There is a new checklist/custom-field item type: Text Area. It allows multi-line text input.
-
Build 589: The state/county uploader is rewritten and expanded to become the Outflows System, a flexible multi-target uploader which can automatically send NEMSIS and NFIRS payloads not just to states and counties, but also to billers, facilities, and regional (non-forwarding) registries. Your existing state-upload credentials have been migrated to the new Outflows system, and will continue to work the same as before.
-
Build 589: The "Bulk Operations" box on all billing pages can now perform bulk-park, bulk-snooze, and bulk-unpark actions.
-
Build 588: AngelTrack pages associated with a patient now display Angelix codes, to help reduce billing mistakes. To learn more, please visit the Angelix Guide.
-
Build 587: In the "Security" section of the Preferences page, there is a new setting to control the lifetime of authentication tickets issued by AngelTrack's login page. Shorter ticket life means users must re-login after leaving their device asleep for the indicated number of hours.
-
Build 586: Report Builder now has a "Datasets" tab, allowing you to add and remove datasets from an existing report (!).
-
Build 585: AngelTrack's 2026 user-interface facelift.
-
Build 585: AngelTrack can now import trip data from a Veterans Administration trip manifest spreadsheet, as provided with a VA transport contract, or as provided by a trip broker who can match the file format. To learn more, please visit the VA Trip Manifest Import Guide.
-
Build 582: Isidore the Support AI has a new brain and a new user interface.
-
Build 581: The Tyler Tech integration now supports the Public Safety Pro product's data file format, in addition to that of the Enterprise CAD product. To learn more, please visit the Tyler Tech Integration Guide.
-
Build 580: AngelTrack is now approved for use in Los Angeles County, CA, and re-approved for use in Orange County, CA.
-
Build 580: Fire hydrant inspections can now have an attached photograph.
-
Build 578: Crew member certificates now have county-level granularity. To learn more, please visit the County-Level Certificates Guide.
-
Build 577: The QA Slot Machine has a new prize to win: Metal versions of the crew patches.
-
Build 576: AngelTrack's inbound PCR push endpoint, which emulates a state trauma registry, is now available, so that you can connect a third-party PCR like ImageTrend for automatic push of data straight into AngelTrack's billing system. To learn more, please visit the Inbound PCR Push Guide.
-
Build 574: New innovation for reducing friction between crews and QA. AngelTrack now has a QA Slot Machine, and a coins system for it, to reward crew members for each chart that passes QA. To learn more, please visit the Coins Guide to learn more.
-
Build 574: Zones can now be bound by county lines, rather than by latitude/longitude lines. This means you can use zones to divide up your organization by county served. To learn more, please visit the Zones Guide.
-
Build 574: On the Active Shifts page, there is a new column allowing you to one-click toggle a shift's eligibility for Vertex assignment. In other words, the new button allows quick toggling of any shift's designation as a surge responder.
-
Build 574: Likewise for the Dispatch Board's "Unassigned" and "Scheduled" grids. This gives dispatchers a simple way to pull calls away from Vertex, to be manually assigned instead, or held in abeyance.
-
Build 574: Vertex Self-Drive will now auto-mark a dispatch as ineligible for automatic assignment if the dispatch has unreachable or invalid street address. This mark will appear on the dispatch board so that a human can intervene.
-
Build 573: The PCR AI phase two -- the form-filler assistant -- is now available. To learn more, please visit the PCR AI Guide.
-
Build 573: AngelTrack has integrated with Active911 to auto-transmit trip-assignment notifications to your Active911 account. To learn more, please visit the Active911 Integration Guide.

-
Build 571: AngelTrack's new Custom EMS PCR Fields Library is now live, featuring 352 new fields to choose from for your PCR, with one-click install. To review the library, visit your Custom Fields List (available under 'Settings') and click the 'Library' tab. The Custom EMS PCR Fields system is part of the Enteprise PCR and hence requires the relevant add-on license. To learn more, please visit the Enteprise PCR Guide.
-
Build 571: AngelTrack is now certified compliant on NEMSIS v3.5.1.
-
Build 568: The following additional custom-field types can now have null values: Integer-Small, Integer-Medium, Integer-Large, Number-Real, Number-Percent, DateTime, ExpirationDate, and Text. The "[Not applicalbe]" choice appears as a tickybox, while the "[Not recorded]" choice is automatic if the field is left unanswered.
-
Build 567: Your license for Vertex now allows 10 solves per hour (up from 6), or 30 solves per hour for the Vertex Enterprise license (up from 20).
-
Build 566: The PCR-Narrative page's AI voice transcriber is now much faster, can handle longer recordings, and can directly activate your microphone rather than requiring you to pre-record the audio.
-
Build 565: Facility onlookers can now download report PDFs directly from the Onlooker Dispatch Board, for calls that are still active.
-
Build 564: There is a new 'Complaint' value called 'Standby (Vertex ignore)'. It acts like a normal Standby call, but Vertex will ignore it when solving for other calls. This allows you to book certain errands that should be exempt from Vertex solutions and from self-drive (automatic dispatching).
-
Build 564: The VectorCare integration can now be used by third-party trip brokers whose systems are capable of emulating the VectorCare API.
-
Build 563: AngelTrack has re-integrated with VectorCare to support their v2 webhook, which works better than v1. You can upgrade from v1 to v2 at any time by visiting your VectorCare account and changing the URL it uses to talk to AngelTrack.
-
Build 562: NEMSIS version 3.5.1 support. If you would like to select v3.5.1 as your default NEMSIS export format for your billing system, you may do so on the Preferences page, under Settings. You can continue to import NEMSIS XMLs into AngelTrack in any version (v334, v340, v350, or v351) you happen to have.
-
Build 561: Can now mark specific facility records as priority boosted (+1, +2, or +3) in Vertex solves, in order to prioritize responses to those facilities.
-
Build 560: AngelTrack can now display a reminder popover to crew members when they press the 'enroute', if they have any unfinished reports that are due, according to the reports-due-after settings you've configured under Preferences. You would use this when your county or state requires very quick uploads of charts, and you want to remind your crews to work on their unfinished charts while enroute to their next call. You can activate this feature from the "Reports due" section of the Preferences page, under Settings.
